Access to Verne will be granted to currently active Teragrid and Director-Discretionary projects on a per-request basis. Verne is intended to be used for analysis (post-processing and visualization). Verne is not intended for computation oriented jobs that could be run on Kraken. Access to Verne is restricted to OTP login.

To request an account on Verne please send email to Accounts at NICS.

Once users receive confirmation of access, they may SSH to verne at verne.nics.tennessee.edu using the same PASSCODE and steps used to connect to Kraken using the OTP token.
